Two overnight trains run from Indore Junction to Mumbai Central. The Mumbai Duronto (12228) leaves Indore at 23:00 and arrives at 11:40.[2] The Avantika Express (12962) leaves Indore at 16:20 and arrives at 06:10.[3] In the other direction, the Avantika Express (12961) leaves Mumbai Central at 19:10 and arrives in Indore at 09:15, and the Indore Duronto (12227) leaves Mumbai Central at 23:15 and arrives at 11:05.
Foreign visitors can book under the Foreign Tourist Quota on the IRCTC website up to 365 days in advance, while the ordinary advance reservation period is 60 days.[4]
Indore to Mumbai by Flight
