Nakhonchai Air (NCA) Bus Station Bangkok: location and travel guide

Where Nakhonchai Air (NCA) buses leave in Bangkok: its Kamphaeng Phet 2 station, Mo Chit counters and Rangsit stop, plus the free shuttle and tips.

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Nakhonchai Air (NCA) is a private bus company with its own station in Bangkok, separate from the state-run Mo Chit 2 terminal. The NCA station is at 333 Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road in Chatuchak, about 2 km from Mo Chit. NCA buses to northern and northeastern Thailand (Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phrae, Uttaradit, Ubon Ratchathani, Nong Khai and many Isan towns) also board at counters inside Mo Chit 2 and at a stop in Rangsit.[1] If you booked NCA, check which of the three boarding points your ticket names. If it is the Kamphaeng Phet 2 station, a free NCA shuttle runs from BTS Mo Chit.

Where NCA buses leave in Bangkok

Buses board at three Bangkok points, for example on the Bangkok to Chiang Mai route:[2]

  • NCA Bangkok station (สถานีเดินรถนครชัยแอร์ กรุงเทพฯ), 333 Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road, Chatuchak 10900. Open 06:00 to 00:00 daily (parcel service 06:00 to 22:00). It has ticket counters, parcel service, a food court and overnight parking.[1]
  • Mo Chit 2 bus terminal (Bangkok Bus Terminal, Chatuchak): NCA counters for the north are on the first floor at gates 21 and 22, and for the northeast (Isan) on the third floor at gates 25 and 26. Both are open 06:00 to 00:00.[1]
  • NCA Rangsit station, inside a Bangchak petrol station in Khlong Nueng, Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani 12120. Open 08:00 to 23:00.[1] It is a boarding point for Bangkok departures only, not a drop-off for arrivals.[2]

On arrival, buses drop off at the Bangkok station and at Mo Chit.[2] Two new NCA Express branches for tickets and parcels, in Bang Phli and Bang Bua Thong, opened on 16 October 2026.[1]

Location and how to get there

NCA's Bangkok station is on Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road, about 2 km from Mo Chit.[1]

  • Free NCA shuttle bus: NCA announced in 2023 a free shuttle between the BTS Mo Chit car park (exit 2) and its Bangkok station, running daily from 05:15 to 09:15 and from 16:15 to 20:45.[3] Ask NCA if you plan to rely on it.
  • BTS or MRT: Get to BTS Mo Chit (or MRT Chatuchak Park), then take the shuttle, a taxi or a motorbike taxi.
  • Taxi or ride-hailing: The simplest option with luggage. Ask for "Nakhonchai Air, Kamphaeng Phet 2" and show the Thai name.

Operators and destinations

NCA runs mostly from Bangkok to the north and northeast, plus provincial routes such as Ubon Ratchathani to Rayong.[4] The buses are premium: Gold Class (VIP) with 21 to 32 seats and First Class with 30 seats.[2][5] These Bangkok routes show the distances and journey times:

Tickets and facilities

  • Counters: Tickets are sold at the Bangkok station, the Mo Chit counters and the Rangsit station.[1]
  • Kiosks: If you booked online, you can print your ticket at a self-service kiosk, or show the saved ticket image at a counter.[10]
  • Online and phone: Book through NCA Booking on nakhonchaiair.com[2] or call the NCA call centre on 1624.[1]
  • Facilities at the station: Food court, parcel service, breast milk delivery service and overnight car parking.[1]

Tips

  • Arrive at least 20 minutes before departure.[10]
  • Luggage under the bus is limited to 2 pieces and 20 kg per person, and excess weight is charged. Keep valuables with you. Staff tag your bag and you keep the matching stub for collection at your destination.[10]
  • Pets and fresh or strong-smelling food are not allowed on board.[10]
  • Do not mix up the stations. The state-run Mo Chit 2 terminal, where Transport Co operates, is a different building from NCA's own Kamphaeng Phet 2 station.
  • Mo Chit 2 stays where it is: the Ministry of Transport ruled out relocation in May 2026, so NCA's Mo Chit counters are not affected.[11]
