Gwalior to Agra by Train

The Gatimaan Express connects Gwalior with Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi. Train 12049 leaves Gwalior at 16:15 and arrives at Hazrat Nizamuddin at 19:30, and train 12050 leaves Hazrat Nizamuddin at 08:10 and arrives in Gwalior at 11:25.[1] North Central Railway described the Gatimaan Express in August 2022 as the fastest train in India, running at 160 km/h.[2] Many other long-distance trains also use the line between Gwalior and Agra, so look for a train that stops at Agra Cantt (AGC) when you search on IRCTC.

The Taj Mahal opens 30 minutes before sunrise and closes 30 minutes before sunset.[5]
