KLM Plans Up to 27 Weekly India Flights for Winter 2026–27

KLM plans to operate up to 27 weekly flights from India during the northern-winter 2026–27 timetable, expanding options for travellers connecting between India, Amsterdam and the airline’s wider network.

The winter schedule runs from 25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027. According to a KLM statement reported by ETTravelWorld, services from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad will form the India programme, with Delhi reaching up to 10 flights a week.

For travellers starting or ending an India trip in Europe, Amsterdam Schiphol can provide onward connections across KLM’s European and long-haul network. The added Delhi frequency may also create more choices for passengers whose international itinerary is tied to a fixed arrival date, a domestic connection in India or an overnight stop in Amsterdam.

Hyderabad joined KLM’s direct India network in September 2025, alongside the airline’s established Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru services. KLM’s earlier announcement for the Hyderabad route specified three weekly Amsterdam flights, but the airline’s global winter-network release does not publish a city-by-city India frequency breakdown for 2026–27.

The announced total is described as up to 27 weekly flights, so frequencies can vary within the season. Travellers should check the operating date, airport, connection time and ticket conditions before booking, particularly where a short transfer at Amsterdam is important.

Delhi route marks 70 years

The expansion coincides with 70 years of KLM flights from Delhi. KLM’s first direct Delhi–Amsterdam service began in 1955, according to the report. The anniversary does not change entry rules or airport procedures, but it highlights the route’s continued role as a direct link between India and the Netherlands.

KLM has separately confirmed that its wider winter 2026–27 network will run from 25 October to 27 March. Published flight schedules remain subject to operational and commercial changes.
