Siem Reap Green Season Sale Offers Up to 50% Off Selected Travel Services

Visitors planning a Siem Reap stay this rainy season can find discounts on selected travel services through a new Ministry of Tourism-backed promotion. The pilot, called the 2026 Siem Reap Tourism Service Mega Sale, began on August 1.

Cambodia’s state news agency, Agence Kampuchea Presse, says participating three- to five-star establishments are offering reductions of 10% to 50% when services are booked through Cambodia Wonder. The campaign was organised with the Siem Reap chapter of the Cambodia Hotel Association, the Siem Reap Tourism Club Association and local businesses.

The official Cambodia Wonder campaign listing gives the promotion period as August 1 to October 31, 2026, and advertises 30% to 50% off at participating hotels, restaurants, attractions and businesses. The different published discount ranges mean travellers should treat the percentage as offer-specific rather than expect a standard 50% reduction.

The scheme is limited to participating businesses and should not be assumed to apply across Siem Reap. Before paying, check the individual listing, travel dates, room or service conditions, cancellation terms and whether the quoted price already includes taxes or fees. The published campaign information does not say that Angkor Archaeological Park admission tickets are part of the offer, so visitors should continue to budget for temple passes separately unless an individual package explicitly includes them.

The sale is a distinct local promotion and does not duplicate goasia’s recent coverage of Angkor night-tour pilots, restoration work or Cambodia’s visa proposals. It may be useful for travellers who can schedule a Siem Reap visit before the end of October, particularly where accommodation or booked activities are already part of their itinerary.
