On 20 October 2026 its route page showed round-trip economy fares from VND 7,691,000 for 22 October to 5 November, with the note that fares were collected within the last 48 hours and may no longer be available.[2] Leave a buffer between the bus arrival and the flight, or stay a night in Hanoi.
Ha Giang to Luang Prabang overland via Dien Bien Phu
The Lao Department of Immigration lists the Pang Hok International Checkpoint, which shares the border with the Tay Trang border gate in Dien Bien Province, as open from 07:00 to 19:00 with visa on arrival and e-visa.[3] The Lao e-visa portal's own list of designated e-visa ports does not name Pang Hok,[4] so check with the Lao authorities or your embassy which visa option works at this crossing before you travel.
