Da Nang Central Bus Station (Bến xe trung tâm Đà Nẵng): travel guide
Da Nang Central Bus Station (Bến xe trung tâm Đà Nẵng) is the city's main intercity coach terminal. Long-distance coaches to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang and Can Tho leave from here,[1] and so does the LK01 bus to Hue.[2] Da Nang also has a separate southern coach station, so check which station your ticket names.
The central station is run by Da Nang Bus Station Transport and Management JSC. It stands on Ton Duc Thang Street in Hoa Minh Ward, in the north-west of the city.[1]
Location and how to get there
The address is 148 Ton Duc Thang Street.[1] Some booking sites and map apps show other house numbers (such as 185 or 201), so search for the station name rather than the number. The station is open around the clock for service and information, and the hotline is 0236 376 76 79. Coach departures run from 05:00 to 23:00 daily.[1]
- Taxi or ride-hailing: the simplest option from the beach area or the city centre. Enter "Bến xe trung tâm Đà Nẵng" as the destination.
- Local bus: Bus 02 runs from the station to Cua Dai via the City Administrative Centre (04:45 to 18:00), and bus 21 to Tam Ky Bridge (04:45 to 17:30). Fares are by distance and start at VND 8,000.[2]
- To Hue: LK01 runs between the Central Bus Station and Hue South Bus Station, 05:30 to 19:00, about every 14 to 15 minutes, VND 80,000 per person for the whole route of about 100 km.[2]

Tickets and facilities
Tickets are sold at the station and can be booked and paid for in several ways.[1] The terminal has a waiting lounge with seating, free Wi-Fi and free toilets, a pharmacy and ATMs on the ground floor, food outlets, parking for motorbikes and cars under nine seats, a taxi service and vehicle repair.[1]
Ho Chi Minh City coaches arrive at the Mien Dong Moi (new Eastern) station, not the old one.[1] See the Mien Dong guide on GoAsia for the difference.
Tips
- Arrive 30 to 60 minutes before departure, and earlier on weekends and public holidays.
- Book a few days ahead for long routes at peak season and Tet, since sleeper berths sell out.
- Many sleeper buses and limousine vans also pick up at the operator's own office in town. Your ticket shows which one.
- Ask the operator which station you arrive at in Hanoi (Nuoc Ngam, Giap Bat or My Dinh) before you book an onward trip.
