A filing submitted to the US Department of Transportation on September 14 listed a Beijing Capital–New York JFK return flight for September 19 and a Beijing Capital–Washington Dulles return flight for September 25. Air China said the flights were additional to its existing schedule and intended to support travel connected with high-level meetings in the United States.
The filing covers two single-date round trips only: CA621/CA622 between Beijing and New York, and CA625/CA626 between Beijing and Washington. It does not announce a new recurring route, a higher long-term frequency or a timetable for additional direct services.
